Improve Your Relationship With a New Mattress

Okay when is the last time you got a new mattress.  I was checking the weight on our mattress for shipping the other day and realized that over time your mattress gains weight.  Dust and your own skin work into your mattress to the point that it can actually double in weight over 10 years.  With that fact, how old is your mattress.  Once I figured that out we ditched our mattress and bought a new one.  Think about it how important is the area where you spend your time in slumber, and doing things that are sexy and intimate?  Now how important is it that you keep that mattress fresh and clean of dust and skin fragments.  Do you want to be making love to your partner on a mattress with the equal amount of weight of skin and dust. You will also get a better night sleep and your love making will be better on a more comfortable mattress.  So in essence a new mattress will improve many things.

A Hammock, Now That Would Be Romantic

One of the most romantic places you can be is together in a hammock.  Swinging back and forth suspended from the gourd with just ropes and wood, in the warm summer sun.  The beauty of the hammock for lovers is that the way it is designed you can't help but be close to each other.  This will also allow your bodies to relax put this hammock by the beach and you have a match made in heaven.

Why not think about getting a hammock to place in your back yard this summer.  Instead of lounging around inside the two of you can take your snuggling outside.  Allowing you to get some fresh air and take in some beautiful sounds and scenery.

Moving Your Love

Things happen in our life that change our location.  We recently had to pick up and move on the spur of the moment.  While it wasn't fun and the days were long the important thing we realized was that the easiest part of the move was moving our love to our new location.  With each box we packed our love grew stronger and with knowing that we had no support in our new location besides each other it grew stronger.  Now I am not saying that moving could help your relationship but it might not hurt it either.

Yabba Dabba Dooooo

Did you know that the very first couple shown in bed during prime time American television history was Wilma and Fred Flintstone.  What a scandal that was I am sure.  I mean come on really to cartoon characters in bed, I am sure the American Public was all up in arms with the notion that Fred and Wilma were having sex?   Yabba Dabba Doooooooo.

Isn't is sad still to this day it is easier to see someone killed on television then to see a couple that are in a serious relationship in bed together.

Sad Fact : 4 Minutes Is All Most Couples Get

It is estimated that between work, kids, internet, hobbies, sleep, and home and family responsibilities that the average couples spends an average of only 4 minutes alone together each day.

This got me thinking and I know that we spend more than that alone together.  However, I challenge you today to make note of the actual time you spend together alone.  You might be surprised how little time alone you are together.  Once you figure out how much time you have to enjoy each others company on a daily basis talk between yourselves and see what you can do to change it and allow more alone time for the two of you.  Maybe you stay up a half hour later, or plan out nights you can use a babysitter to help the two of you gain some alone time, or even just get out of the house and sit outside while the kids are playing inside.

Sure if you don't have kids it is easier to spend time together but why wait until the kids are grown and gone to start this habit.  Heck with only 4 minutes a day by the time the kids are grown you might not know each other at all.  Take the time today and start making the shift, this act will also help start you kids in the right direction for when they enter into a relationship.

Peace and Love,
